COME AND TRY - TENNYSON SCOUTS

On Saturday 24 July we have a group of Scouts coming for a Come and Try at 9.30am. This will be held straight after our training followed by a bbq.

We need help from crew on the boats and BBQ.

8.45 arrival 

9am - Safety Talk and off water instruction 

9.30am - 10am on water. ( With your numbers we will divide into two groups of 12 with 2 leaders and 2 of our paddlers in each DB ) 

10a - 10.30 break ( we will get some ice blocks for the cubs) 

10.30 - 11am - a  couple of races between the kids in the Dragon Boats. Maybe a tug of war at the boat ramp  

11.30 /12 BBQ lunch.  

 

These hygiene practices are a must in this COVID-19 environment:

  • Practice social distancing 1.5 metres apart (no hugging, high-fives, hand shakes etc).
  • Reduce time at the venue.
  • Hand washing/sanitising (antibacterial gel and wipes will be available).
  • Covering your coughs and sneezes and properly disposing of tissues and hand. washing immediately after.
  • Not sharing water bottles.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Clean equipment after use.
  • Limit touching surfaces

DO NOT attend if you are unwell.
